Early Childhood Education Requisite Facilities

On May 18, 2023, the DJUSD Board of Education approved the reprioritization of Bond Projects throughout the District. Funding from the Measure M Bond Program has been allocated to the ECE Initiative, mobilizing formal design work for the construction of additional Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten classrooms.
Construction for the new ECE classrooms will occur in phases. Phase One will encompass school sites that currently have the space available to accommodate new buildings. Phase One sites include Pioneer elementary school.
